I've really been loving some products this month and I wanted to share them with you !


Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette 
I've had this palette for about a year now and I can't recommend it enough ! The shades are really versatile and have a subtle shimmery finish. You can use each shade individually or combine all three shades to create one unique shade. I like to use this palette to highlight, set my makeup or to add some pop to my bronzer. Definitely a must in all makeup wardrobes !

Calvin Klein CK One Gold Fragrance 
To start with, the packaging of this fragrance is just divine. It's a gorgeous metallic gold with sleek gold drips down the sides. The fragrance claims to be unisex and I would say it does live up to this claim. It's fresh and clean but also woody and juicy. It has top notes of fig, a heart of neroli and a base of vetiver.

MAC Lipstick in Brave
I've developed a love for MAC lipsticks and it all started with the cult popular Velvet Teddy. I wanted to try something a bit pinker and Brave is definitely that. It has a satin finish that sits really nicely on the lips and is comfortable. It's a pretty colour that is perfect for spring and isn't too bold.

Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in Sparkling Bellini
This is a beautiful peach/coral toned blush that has a slight shimmer and sparkle running through it. It's really pigmented so you only need a small amount to get a perfect, flushed look.

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer 
I have quite naturally dark dark circles and always find it a struggle to cover them up. But this concealer is the bomb ! It covers them up completely and doesn't leave my under eye area all cakey and gross. You only need a tiny amount and it blends out really nicely. Winner winner.

Stila Eyes Are The Window Eye Shadow Palette in Soul 
If you're after an eye shadow palette that is a mix of nude matte and shimmer shades, then this is it ! The colours are really pigmented and blend out well. You can use it to create a day look but also a night time look. The packaging is a stunning rose-gold chrome that is so elegant and gorgeous.

Rimmel X Kate Moss Lipstick in 055 My Nude
This shade is a perfect nude shade for all-year round. It goes on really nicely and is comfortable on the lips. It's nice and pigmented and you can pick it up at an affordable price.

Elf Blending Shadow Brush
This brush is a steal ! I picked it up from K-Mart for $3 and it blends shadows really well. The bristles are soft and give good control while blending. If you're after a eye shadow blending brush that won't break the bank, definelty give this one a go !

Formula X Nail Polish in Aphrodite 
Holo lovers rejoice because this polish is packed with glitter. It's like a silver disco ball on your nails and you'll be able to take the party where ever you go.

Nails Inc Nail Polish in Colville Mews
This polish is a lovely nude shade that is really pretty yet sophisticated. The rectangular bottle is really cool and funky.

Rimmel London and Kate Moss have recently celebrated their 15th anniversary and to commemorate this amazing occasion, they've released a range of gorgeous lipsticks.


The rose gold packaging is absolutely stunning and is some of the prettiest lipstick packaging I've ever seen.  I mean just look at them !



There are six shades in the collection with three nude shades and three red shades. The shades are 054 Rock N Roll Nude, 055 My Nude, 056 Boho Nude, 051 Muse Red, 052 Idol Red and 053 Retro Red. You can check out swatches below !

All of the shades are super creamy and pigmented. They feel really comfortable on the lips and are non-drying.

Get ready for summer with OPI's newest collection, the Retro Summer collection. There are six shades in the collection ranging from pinks, blues and yellows.


Application of all of the polishes was pretty good and they were opaque in three coats. The lighter colours were a little streaky but evened out well with a third coat. The overall finish of the polishes was really nice and shiny. Loving this collection !


Sailing & Nailing
This shade is easily my favourite of the collection. It's super bright, fun and the bluest of blues ! I will definitely be using this colour again and again.



Towel Me About It
This shade is a buttery yellow and is quite cool toned. I'm not a huge fan of yellows and this is probably my least favourite colour of the collection.



SPF XXX  
This is quite a unique shade. It's not quite a red and not quite pink - more like a red coral? Anyway, it's a lovely shade and quite bright on the nail.
 


I'm Getting A Tan-gerine 
This shade is a nice, pastel orange colour. It's not bright and in your face but a more subtle apricot colour.



What's The Double Scoop?
This light pink shade is just lovely. It reminds me of Suzi Shops and Island Hops from the OPI Hawaii collection and will fit very nicely in my collection of pretty pink polishes.



Flip Flops & Crop Tops
If you're after a super bright and fun pink, this is your shade. It's a really nice pink that is super flattering that is just perfect for warmer weather !

Apres-chic

This shade is a stunning silver metallic colour and I can see myself using it as an accent nail in many manis to come ! It is a little streaky but the stunning colour make up for that.



Altitude Attitude
You can never have too many red polishes so this shade will sit very happily in my collection. It's a mid-toned red that is quite bright and looks great on my light skin tone.



Shall We Chalet?
This shade is a deeper red that edges on a burgundy/maroon shade. If you love dark, vampy nails then definitely pick this one up.

   

Peak Show
I love baby pink shades and this one is no exception ! It goes on really nicely and is very similar to Let's Be Friends by OPI from the Hello Kitty collection.



Virgin Snow
This shade is a lovely lilac colour that is a highlight of the collection for me.  I can see it looking amazing on any skin tone and it reminds me of Bikini So Teeny but without the shimmer.
 


Haute Tub
At first glance, this shade looks like just a dark, almost black shade. But when you look closer, it's actually a really dark purple with pink and purple microglitter running through it. So pretty !

Spearmint Scoop
I expected this shade to be a bit brighter and it actually is a bit darker and dustier on the nail. It's still a lovely shade and it took 2 coats to be opaque.




Fairy Dreams 
This dusty pink/lilac shade is so pretty and the name totally suits it. Love it ! No complaints. I would wear it again for sure.



Silver Siren
This shade looks so stunning in the bottle but just didn't live up to my expectations. It's a chrome polish and is a nice colour but is super streaky. For each coat, I only did one brush stroke for minimal streaking but it didn't help. 




I really like the brush of these, it's a good length, gives you good control and fans out nicely. The formula was really great too, nice and opaque but not too thick. I would definitely try these out again.

So I was approached a little while ago to see if I wanted to try out some Smith and Cult polishes and of course I said yes ! I had already seen my nail pal Doni's review of them and I was keen to try them out for myself (you can check out Doni's blog here).

Firstly, the Smith and Cult website is amazing. It's got very cool graphics and their product range looks very wide and nicely presented. Go and check it out !

In terms of the bottles, I love their design. They're circular with a dented gold cap - very fancy. The polish has an exclusive 8-free formula and the shades I received to review are Kundalini Hustle and Bang The Dream.

I found that the large gold cap made it a little tricky to paint with as it's quite heavy. However I realised that you can actually detach the cap to reveal a thinner cap and this makes it much easier to paint with. I also found that taking good photos with the circular bottles quite a challenge (#nailbloggerstruggles) but that doesn't detract from their overall amazingness at all.

Kundalini Hustle
This shade is a super bright and vivid red that will turn heads when you wear it ! The formula was great and it was opaque in three thin coats.



Bang The Dream
This shade is a dark dark grey that's almost black. It's got a stunning shimmer running through it and this gives it great dimension. This one needed a third coat for opacity and I can see myself reaching for this on cooler days. The colour is much nicer in person, sadly the lighting here doesn't reflect it's true beauty.

With the new film Alice Through The Looking Glass being released recently, OPI have released a brand new collection which also doubles as their Brights 2016 collection.

All of the shades are stunning and the name are equally as amazing ! The collection consists of eight polishes that range from red to blues and metallics.


Oh My Majesty !
This shade is a beautiful marshmallowey light shade that has a very subtle opalescence to it. It is on the sheer side but I can still see myself wearing it in the future.



Mad for Madness Sake
This shade is a really nice bright raspberry pink colour and was completely opaque in two coats. Love it !


I'm Gown For Anything
This is a lovely dusty lavender shade that is so soft and beautiful. It's more on the pink side than purple but that doesn't detract from how nice it is. It reminds me of In A Lily Bit by China Glaze.










 
The I's Have It
Can we just talk about how stunning this pastel blue is ?! It's such a bright, light, baby blue and it's going to be a firm favourite in my collection.
 




 
What's The Hatter With You ?
If you're mulberry shades, than this is for you. It's a creme formula that goes on really nicely. No complaints about this polish.



Fearlessly Alice
This is a bright mid-toned blue that is really really lovely. I did experience slight staining on the nail and the cuticle while swatching which is a bit disappointing. However that won't stop me from wearing it and I think that with a base coat, the staining won't be as prominent.





 
A Mirror Escape
This polish is a gold textured shade that has a metallic edge. I can't really decide if I like this one or not. I like the overall gold tone but then I look closer and see the little white pearl dots and then I don't like it as much. Unsure about this one.



Having A Big Head Day
This shade is the perfect red for me ! It compliments my skin tone really nicely and just makes my nails pop. This is going to be my favourite red forever (or at least until a new ones comes along haha).



This is a really fun collection and my favourites have to be The I's Have It, Fearlessly Alice and Having A Big Head Day. You can pick up this collection from selected salons, Myer and David Jones stores nationally.

The OPI Infinite Shine collection is a three part gel effect nail polish system. It gives up to ten days of wear without the use of a UV lamp and removal is easy with just nail polish remover (no soaking!). The three part system consists of a base coat (step 1), nail colour (step 2) and top coat (step 3).  In addition to their shade range, OPI have recently released a brand new Soft Shades collection.


In comparison to traditional polish, the Infinite Shine polishes were thicker and all of the shades except for The Beige Of Reason were opaque in two coats. Even without the top coat, the shine of the polishes was incredible and the formula was great !


Non-Stop White
This is your perfect white ! It goes on really well and only needs two coats to be opaque. Winner winner chicken dinner !



The Beige Of Reason
This is shade a really nude, sheer shade and would be great to use for a french manicure. This was around four coats of polish and there is still quite a viable nail line.



Beyond The Pale Pink
Umm hello gorgeous pale pink ! This is a really delicate, feminine pale pink that I could wear constantly. No issues with application and was perfectly opaque in two thin coats.



Pearl Of Wisdom
This shade is a light pearly white shade with a shimmer/micro-glitter running through it. It's a really soft and lovely shade that gives me spring vibes.



Go To Grayt Lengths
Of all of the shades of the collection, this one feels a bit out of place for me. I feel like it would be more suited to a winter collection. That being said, it's a lovely grey shade that has a shimmer/micro-glitter running through it.



Eternally Turquoise 
This is such a beautiful blue shade that reminds me of OPI's Can't Find My Czechbook. I was hoping it would be a little brighter as it has quite a dusty tone to it. Still lovely though.
 

Overall I loved these Infinite Shine polishes and I'm really excited to try more of this range in the future. You can pick this collection up for yourself from David Jones, Myer and selected salons nationally and the polishes retail for $22.95 each.

Embrace the pastel power with OPI's brand new 2016 Soft Shades collection. The collection ranges from baby blues to pale pinks and has major Spring vibes !


The majority of the shades needed three coats to reach full opacity but the formula went on really well and had a great finish.

It's In The Clouds
This is a really unique off-white shade. I can see it being a great base colour for nail designs or for when I feel like wearing a lighter colour but not white.



Stop It I'm Blushing
This shade is a nice pink/peachy colour that is very Spring-like. It's not my favourite of the collection and will probably not wear that often.



This Cost Me A Mint
Mint shades are always my favourite and this one is no exception ! It's a mint green colour as the name suggests and it's similar to That's Hula-rious from the OPI Hawaii collection.


It's A Boy !
This shade is the perfect baby blue. It's soft and delicate with a nice pastel blue tone. This shade is definitely my favourite of the collection. It's quite similar to Gelato On My Mind from the OPI Venice collection however it's slightly brighter and less dusty.



One Chic Chick
If pale yellows are your thing, than this would be a great polish for you. It's a mellow pale yellow that's quite nice and demure. 



I Am What I Amethyst 
This shade has a more purple tone to it than It's A Boy and reminds me of Bikini So Teeny by Essie. It doesn't have the same shimmer to it but it's a really love colour and I can see myself wearing this quite often.


The collection is available now exclusively from Myer, David Jones and selected salons. You can also pick up the collection in mini form with four of the shades for $24.95.

I purchased these from Maconii's eBay page (you can check them out here), they also have a shop in Melbourne's CBD. They have heaps of different polish brands that can be hard to come by at an affordable price.

Overall I loved the collection and will be wearing them again and again. The pink shades were a little sheerer and need three coats for opacity but apart from that, the polish went on well and evened out nicely. The finish of these polishes is nice and creamy with a great shine. This is the first time I've tried creme Colour Club shades and I was pretty impressed.

Feathered Hair Out To There
This shade is a pastel candy pink that's soft and bright at a same time. It took three coats to reach opacity and like most light pinks, you have to wait a little bit between applications to prevent bald spots.



Hot Hot Hot Pants
This shade is more of a sherbet orange pink shade that's really lovely. It's a real shame that the true colour doesn't show up in photo; It's like a softer version of Flip Flop Fantasy by China Glaze. This shade also needed three coats for opacity but evened out nicely.



Under The Blacklight
This colour is so great ! I don't have a polish like it in my collection. It's a lime/lemon pastel shade that is lovely and summery. This shade need three thin coats for opacity.



'Till The Record Stops
I would say that this shade is a dupe for That's Hula-rious by OPI. It's a bit brighter and less pistachio toned but it's a really flattering shade and one that can be worn all year round. It only needed two coats for full opacity.



Meet Me At The Rink
This shade is a spectacular bright, pastel blue that I could wear every single day. It only needed two coats for opacity and went on smoothly. So nice !



Diggin' The Dancing Queen
The last shade is a bright and vibrant purple shade that is a lot brighter in person. It's also more pink in person as well and would look fantastic on any skin tone.
