Models Own have done it again with their new Cheat Day collection ! This collection consists of an eyeshadow palette, a highlighter palette and 3 lip glaze shades. The collection is really fun and makes me want to eat lots of lollies and donuts. Get ready for a sneak peak at the collection before it launches at Priceline on the 26th of April.
Cheat Day Eyeshadow Palette $29.95
This eyeshadow palette has 16
irresistible shades in creamy mattes, shimmers and
glitters.
Each
pan contains two complementary shades which makes it easy to create a beautiful eye look. You can use the outer shade on the lid as a
base colour and use the inner shade in the crease to add dimension and depth. The metallic shades are really creamy and pigmented. They're all really wearable shades and finishes. The palette also includes a dual ended brush: a fluffy end and a flat shader brush.
Cheat Day Cheek Glaze Highlighter Palette $24.95
Next up is the highlighter palette with 3 different highlighter shades. The palette has a duo chrome pink shade with a purple shift, a gold shade and a coral shade. The
lightweight formula
is enriched with ultra-fine luminescent pearls for a luminous glow. Applied to the high
points of the face Cheek Glaze Highlighter palette easily creates an effortless
glow. I liked the overall formula of this palette nice and shimmery however I found the gold shade a little chalky.
Cheat Day Lip Glaze $12.95
The Cheat Day Lip Glaze are available in 3 different shades and are a
long-lasting metallic matte liquid lipstick. The formula is really lightweight, full coverage and almost mousse like. It dries really quickly and feels really comfortable on the lips. The lip glazes are quite metallic and shimmery and definitely in-line with the metallic lip trend (Huda Beauty Lip Strobes, Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb etc). The shades are (L-R) Creme Brulee, Meringue and Frosting.
I think this collection is really fun and I really like the eyeshadow palette ! I can also see myself reaching a lot for the highlighter palette ! I'm not sure how often I'll wear the lip glazes because I'm not a huge fan of metallic lip shades but if they're your thing, go for it.
